If you are a consumer who wants advice or to make a complaint about a trader you should contact the Citizens Advice Consumer Service first. If there are matters which need to be investigated by Trading Standards they will take the details and pass them to us or other Trading Standards departments.

Trading Standards is part of Standards and Enforcement and is a partnership between Harrow Council and Brent Council.

If you are providing your information to Brent Council using the above contact details, your information will be collected for the purpose of responding to your request and if applicable, keeping a record of any advice or service provided to you. In addition, businesses information will be retained to assist fulfilling the Council’s statutory duties and/or contractual requirements of enforcing consumer protection legislation or carrying out other Trading Standards functions.
