Christmas presents delivered to Brent’s vulnerable children

20 December 2021

Christmas presents are going to be delivered to a number of vulnerable children in the borough.

Brent Council worked alongside the ACE Café to collect, donate and distribute presents to vulnerable children and young people, some of whom are in care.

The gifts are the result of a toy appeal, organised by ACE café, known as the world’s most famous motor café, where members of the public were encouraged to buy a festive present for children who most need help and support this winter.

Unity Support Riders delivered the Christmas gifts that were kindly donated by residents to three drop-off points, including the Civic Centre.

Cllr Margaret McLennan, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding, Early Help and Social Care said: “We are delighted to be able to support the ACE Café, who are doing a remarkable job in in delivering these gifts to vulnerable children to help make their Christmas a little brighter. Thank you to all of those who donated these generous gifts. We know that the children will truly appreciate them.”
