It's not too late to recycle your Christmas tree
30 December 2021
Our quick and easy Christmas tree recycling service is available again this year for residents who purchase a real Christmas tree and want a hassle-free and ‘green’ way to dispose of it.
There are a number of options available:
Christmas trees can be taken to one of our many drop off locations in our parks until 9 January. All locations are available to view on a map, by visiting www.brent.gov.uk/christmastree
In addition, we are providing a two-hour window at the following locations, where a Veolia vehicle and team will be available, on the relevant date and time, to take unwanted Christmas trees directly from residents and recycle them.
9.00am -11.00am - Priory Park Road NW6, junction with Hazelmere Road
12.00pm -2.00pm - Brondesbury Villas NW6, junction with Woodville Road
2.00pm - 4.00pm - Shaftesbury Avenue HA3, by the Tennis Courts at Woodcock Park
9.00am - 11.00am - Lydford Road NW2, junction with St Gabriel’s Road
12.00pm - 2pm - Anson Road NW2, junction with Kendal Road
2.00pm - 4.00pm - Doyle Gardens NW10, junction with Furness Road
Residents can also still take their real Christmas trees to the Reuse and Recycling Centre at Abbey Road, cut up your tree and recycle using the garden waste service (if you subscribe), or book a bulky waste collection by visiting: www.brent.gov.uk/specialcollections
