Brent's 'jazzy' new course is the business

A brand new three week course is coming to Brent in April, teaching business skills to young people in the Kilburn, Brondesbury and Queens Park areas, through jazz music.

The Jazz Alive programme is on 26 April from 10am to 5pm at Kilburn Park School, Malvern Road, NW6 5RG.

What's more it's absolutely free to 16 - 24 year-olds are not in full-time employment (can be in part-time or higher education) and live in the Kilburn, Brondesbury or Queen's Park areas.

Organised by the Jazz Alive social enterprise, in association with Brent's Ward Working Team, the programme mixes life skills, business training and music improvisation to help young people start their own creative enterprise or business.

The deadline for budding musical business entrepreneurs to register is 19 April, via the Jazz Alive website.
