Help us spend money in your neighbourhood

21 January 2020

We want to know how we should be spending your community cash.

The money we’re giving away is a portion of levy placed on developers so we can improve the infrastructure in places where development is taking place – and we want to spend your cash on the things that matter most.

Brent Council is holding a consultation on local priorities for the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) until Wednesday, February 5.

We want to find out your views on the types of projects we should be investing in to make our communities better.

Your contribution will help us decide which priorities we should be concentrating on over the next three years.

Councillor Shama Tatler, Brent Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Property and Planning said: “We know that housing is amongst this city’s greatest challenges, but it is also true to say that building those much needed homes can be disruptive and noisy work.

“Brent is one of the first boroughs to enshrine the principle that where developers benefit, so should local people.

“Our programme has invested millions in local projects, a fact we’re proud of, but we want to hear from you so that we can continue to invest in the areas that matter to you.”
