Inspired by Tour de France? Join a free cycle ride

For those inspired by the Tour De France, Brent's popular programme of free guided cycle rides starts again on Sunday 20 July, with eight fun cycle rides in the borough to choose from.

Organised by Sky, British Cycling and Brent Council, the Sky Ride Local rides are led by friendly Ride Leaders, take place on Sundays and have three different levels available - from easy going to challenging. So whether you want to go on a fun family ride or are looking to stretch your legs on a cycling challenge, there's something for everyone.

  • Sunday 24 August at 2pm - 'Three Bridges over the River Brent'
  • Sunday 7 September at 2pm - 'Road to Wembley'
  • Sunday 21 September at 2pm - 'Brent and Borders Greenway'
  • Sunday 5 October at 2pm - 'Gladstone Park Explorer'
  • Sunday 19 October at 2pm - 'Brent and Borders Greenway'
  • Sunday 26 October at 10am- 'Metroland'
