Free ESOL classes for Brent’s Eastern European and Latin American communities

13 March 2020

New six-month ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses will give Brent’s new and emerging Eastern European and Latin American communities the chance to improve their English for free.

The classes will start in April 2020 and see learners improve their English while increasing their knowledge of life in the UK and boosting their digital and work-based skills.

Classes will take place for three hours each week in the evenings or on Saturdays, and are open to anyone with an Eastern European or Latin American background who is living, working or studying in Brent.

Anyone interested in taking part should email MFCommunityESOL@brent.gov.uk to book their place.

The deadline for registration is Sunday 29 March 2020. However, places will be issued on a first come, first served basis – so register your interest now!

The free ESOL classes are being funded by the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government’s New and Emerging Communities Programme, which aims to empower new and emerging communities to realise their potential and contribute to a stronger and more prosperous borough, where everyone feels valued.
