Gearing up for Bike Week (30 May – 5 June)
19 May 2021
A week of FREE, and inclusive events will be taking place across the borough ranging from getting free repairs and tips from bike gurus, Dr Bike, half-term cycle training for young people, and bike rides for women.
Councillor Krupa Sheth, Cabinet Member for Environment said: “For this year’s Bike Week, we have some really exciting events planned to get you in the cycling zone.
“Bikes can be for everyone, and we want to encourage those who would normally shy away from cycling, to feel more confident and inspired to ride. There are plenty of excellent health benefits of cycling, not to mention doing our part to get to zero carbon emissions in Brent by 2030. It’s a win-win!”
