General Election 2019: You have until 4 December to apply for a proxy vote

If you are not going to be around on 12 December for the Parliamentary General Election, you only have until 5.00pm on Wednesday 4 December to arrange for someone else to vote on your behalf, known as a proxy vote.
Proxy voting means that if you aren’t able to cast your vote in person, you can have someone else cast your vote for you.
Who can act as your proxy?
Anyone can be your proxy as long as they’re:
- registered to vote
- eligible to vote in the same type of election
How to apply?
To apply, please visit our proxy votes web page to download the application form and then follow the instructions.
There are different forms depending on the reason that you need a proxy vote. When you apply, make sure you pick the correct form for your reason or your application may be rejected.
Once completed, please return your completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to Brent Civic Centre.Our Electoral Services Team must receive completed forms by 5.00pm on Wednesday 4 December.
