The recommended units of alcohol that adults should consume have been changed. Public Health England now recommends that both men and women should drink no more that 14 units a week. But what's a unit? And is you tipple of choice taking you over?
Come and find out more at our information stall on Thursday 12 January, anytime between 11am-2pm at Brent Civic Centre. You will be able to find out how many units of alcohol are in your favourite drink, get useful advice on cutting down on alcohol and if you or someone you knows needs support to reduce the amount of alcohol they drink then there will be useful resources and people on hand that can help.
B3, who run Brent's weekend drop-in sessions for people concerned about their use of alcohol will be running the stall.
There is still time to take part in Dry January. It doesn't matter that the month has already started as whenever you choose to give your body a break from alcohol you will feel the benefits to your health.
