Cllr Tom Miller has been appointed to Brent Council's Cabinet as Member for Stronger Communities.
The 30-year-old, who studied law at Manchester University, was elected as councillor for the Willesden Green ward in 2014 and has sat on the Scrutiny Committee, chairing a task group on Housing Associations.
Away from his council responsibilities, Cllr Miller has worked as a grants and foundations officer and as a political influencer for the nationwide mental health charity, Rethink Mental Illness.
