The Polish Bakery celebrated a roaring success at the West London Business Awards on Thursday 2 February.
The business based in Park Royal beat out numerous entrants to win the Company of the Year award at a celebration in central London.
The bakery has been in business since 2003, and is the oldest Polish bakery in the UK. They specialise in bringing the traditional tastes of Polish bread, cakes and pastries to the Brent community.
The award is a celebration of the hard work and passion they put into running their bakery and creating fantastic traditional food.
Agnieszka Gabriel-Damaz, Managing Director of The Polish Bakery said: "We are really delighted we have been recognised by the business community in West London in this way.
"We have been based in Park Royal from the beginning and have built a flourishing business here using only natural sourdough in our breads and no preservatives, something which when we began was ground-breaking and still sets us apart. Winning West London Business Awards endorses our commitment to deliver great quality products and superb customer service."
Cllr Muhammed Butt, Leader of Brent Council said: "Congratulations to The Polish Bakery for winning Company of the Year! A well-deserved award, and I'm glad I was able to be there and celebrate with them."
Cllr Shama Tatler, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Growth, Employment and Skills said: "Our Brent businesses are a crucial part of our economy, and it's good to see businesses like The Polish Bakery flourish and be publically recognised for their achievements.
"They also bring a variety of cultures to our borough, sharing the traditional delicacies and goods of their country here in London. Sharing in these cultures is what makes Brent so vibrant and unique, and a great place to live and work. Brent is truly open for business."
