The Community Hub at Central Middlesex Hospital was offering a range of activities when Cllr Krupesh Hirani visited this week.
The CMH Hub is part of the wider work the Council is involved in as part of the Brent Health and Care Plan in partnership with the NHS. The hub brings together a range of local organisations to offer a programme of activities, support and advice for patients and their family and friends, hospital visitors, staff and local residents.
Cllr Hirani, Cabinet Member for Community Wellbeing, met with service providers from Sufra, Hestia, the CCG, benefits advisors and representatives from the Council's Financial Inclusion team.
"It was great to see so many organisations coming together at the CMH Hub to support our residents," he said following his visit on 28 February. "I would like to thank Central Middlesex Hospital and NHS Brent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) in particular for making this ambition a reality."
The hub is a temporary project running for a week in February and a week in March to test the approach.
