Help is on its way for new and existing Brent firms of all sizes with the arrival today of a new 'Brent for Business' website which will provide a one-stop-shop for information and advice.
Information on areas such as trade waste, licencing, and business rates are covered in the portal, which will also help signpost start-up enterprises to where they can get advice, and businesses to where they can get financial support.
The user-friendly site will also serve to help promote Brent's town centres as a place to do business to those outside of the borough, guide firms towards available workspaces and highlight development opportunities in the borough.
Cllr Shama Tatler, Brent Council's Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Highways and Planning, said:
"The more businesses we can attract to Brent and the more we can retain in the borough will help our local economy to grow, which is great news for businesses and residents alike.
"This portal will play a part in attracting new business to the borough while also making lighter work for existing firms when carrying out their day-to-day tasks."
