You should have the skills to adapt learning to the needs of your pupils in ways that shows your own engagement with world affairs, the arts, sciences and changes in technology around us.
We are looking to appoint a highly effective KS2 teacher to:
- Inspire learning in our children across THE WHOLE curriculum
- Work co-operatively across their year and the wider school team
- demonstrate outstanding skills in assessment of learning and the skills to create the learning journeys children need
- Influence and inspire colleagues to be highly effective
The person
You will demonstrate:
- A deep commitment to the values and ethos of the school and our ambitions
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan knowledge rich learning for all pupils
- Expertise in a subject and the skills to influence and inspire others (desirable)
- A research informed approach to your teaching
- The ability to question, challenge and influence leadership discussions about pedagogy
- The ability to create strong relationships with children, staff and parents
- A real openness to professional development in all its forms
