Nu-Phalt specialises in thermal road and pothole repairs. Injection patching cuts carbon emissions and reduces the time to fix a pothole to less than 10 minutes. One vehicle load can fill up to 60 potholes an day.
Councillor Krupa Sheth, Cabinet Member for Environment, said,
“We are pleased to be working in partnership with Nu-Phalt to use pioneering and innovative technology to improve how we deliver vital road repairs.
“Not only can this technology fix potholes, which we know are a nuisance, much faster. It also saves money and cuts our carbon footprint, bringing us one step closer to our target of net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.”
Brent Council is committed to improving pavements, potholes, high streets and town centres through the £17m Recovery Fund.
The Fund includes a package of measures aimed at helping local communities and businesses bounce back after the pandemic.
