Moving into the evening, immerse yourself in a Caribbean Front Room installation to explore the Caribbean and Black British experience through objects, family, and the home.

A panel discussion brings together local community leaders and leading artists. Together, they will explore the legacies of colonialism and empire in relation to the Windrush diaspora while looking ahead to modern times.

“

The legacy of the Windrush generation means so much to so many. These events celebrate the contributions and culture of the Windrush Generation and their descendants in Brent, as well as the important role they have played in making our borough  stronger, culturally diverse and more inclusive.

”
