Rising temperatures and more extreme weather events in the future could have a catastrophic effect on wildlife habitats and biodiversity locally. Protecting nature and boosting biodiversity are key to the stability of the ecosystem and global climate.
At a local level in Brent we have 90 parks and green open spaces to enjoy, alongside pioneering bee corridors and wonderful wildflower meadows plus our ‘blue spaces’ - such as the waterways which exist within the borough, including the river which gives Brent its name!
