'Back from the Western Front: African Soldiers of the Great War in Britain’ explores the vital contribution made by African soldiers in the First World War. The exhibition has been entirely researched by local volunteers and brings together little-known stories of WW1 with artwork and poetry inspired by these accounts.

The project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is a partnership between Brent Museum & Archives and Learning through the Arts.
