Exercise for the older adult
A free exercise class at Willesden Sports Centre.
Starting with five minute talk on a health topic, eg, balance, diabetes, structure of the heart and circulatory system.
A full warm up to music, a sequence with exercise bands, joint warming and strengthening, a circuit with dumbbells and either strength and flexibility exercises on mats, or exercises with balls, or country dancing to improve balance, memory, spatial awareness and movement to music.
Standing stretches to music concludes the class.
