If you aren't able to join our in-person coffee morning events, we also run a monthly online forum meeting for parents and carers, using Zoom. The sessions are very relaxed and you can drop in as and when your time allows.
At each meeting, you will hear more about the work of the forum and find out ways you can get more actively involved. We regularly invite guest speakers from education, health and early years to talk to parents about local SEND services and answer their questions.
It is also an opportunity for you to tell us what is working well, or not so well, for you and your family and how we can keep you better informed about services and changes happening in Brent.
Details on topics and any guest speakers will be announced closer to the date, along with the agenda.

About the Brent Parent Carers Forum
The forum is an independent, parent-led organisation that helps bring together parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Brent. They help and support families of children with SEND by providing information, advice and a listening ear. By gathering ideas and feedback from members, they also work closely with local organisations to positively improve the planning and delivery of services in Brent for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities. Set up in 2017, the forum is run by a friendly group of volunteers who are all parent carers and understand the issues and challenges that looking after a child with SEND can bring.
