Initial funding has been secured to revive the historic chapels in Paddington Old Cemetery. During 2024 a new project will explore the history and condition of the Chapels; create a strategic plan for their repair; and identify possible new uses.
We’re holding an Open Day to give local people the chance to explore the Chapels and help us consider how we can give these buildings a new sustainable future.
Join us for:
- access into the two main historic Chapel spaces
- free tours of the historic Cemetery @ 11.30am and 1.30pm - led by the Friends of Paddington Old Cemetery. Spaces limited: first come first served basis on the day.
- Review and comment on our initial ideas for repairing and reusing the Chapels.
