New Project Good Work for All

New Project - Good Work for All (GWfA)

In response to the pandemic, earlier this year additional funding has been made available for adult education providers by the Mayor of London as part of the London Recovery Programme.

Known as ‘The Good Work for All’ this fund will allow training providers to prioritise training, education, and employability support that will enable Londoners to gain relevant skills, retrain, and move into work in sectors key to London’s recovery. These sectors include

  • Digital
  • Health and Social care
  • Green
  • Creative and cultural industries

Brent Start – Good Work for All

Brent Start were successful in securing £220,000 for the 2 year project

Offering training and skills in key sectors

  • Health and Social Care
  • Digital Skills for work
  • ESOL, English and Maths Entry

Level 3 Health and Social Care training is FREE subject to eligibility (on benefits or low wage etc)

Aimed at:

  • Unemployed – 12 months and/or long term
  • Young Londoners 19- 23
  • BAME
  • Disabled Londoners
  • Londoners aged over 55
