The school
We are a successful and happy school, looking for class teachers to come and join our team. We have a child-centred approach, and have a well-resourced, creative learning environment which develops children as independent learners.
St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a ‘Good’ School (Ofsted December 2019). We are a Voluntary Aided School. Our pupils range from 3 years – 11 years old and we currently have 197 pupils on Roll.

The role
We are looking to appoint an Administrator/Finance Officer to join our hardworking, friendly, and enthusiastic team. The candidate should be well-organized, numerate, and able to meet tight deadlines. This multi-functional role involves a variety of duties in finance, premises, health and safety, and security. Responsibilities include raising orders for the school, arranging regular compliance checks, dealing with contractors, and general administrative tasks.
We are a one-form entry primary school situated in South Kilburn. Our committed staff works hard to provide excellent teaching through an exciting curriculum for children who love to learn.
The person
The successful candidate will need:
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to compose correspondence and reports
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- The ability to work with minimal direction
- Highly organized and methodical, with attention to detail
- The ability to prioritize work schedules, manage time well, and work under pressure
- Self-motivation
- FMS or Access experience (advantageous, but training can be provided)
- Understanding of premises maintenance, health and safety, and security
- Ability to use compliance systems and maintain appropriate records
