The role
- Administer medication in accordance with school policies
- Provide first aid to children and adults who suffer injury at school
- Record incidents in accordance with school procedures
- Assist in attendance matters across the school including first day calling
- Maintain manual and computerised records and management information systems
- Participate in training & development activities and programmes, and attend and participate in meetings as required
- Check that all children are collected at hometime and remain with any child left at school until parents can be contacted
The person
Qualifications and Experience:
- First Aid Qualification – minimum 3 Day First Aid
- An excellent level of written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
