There will be a scheduled maintenance update taking place on MyAccount from 5pm on Friday 24 February 2017 to 9am on Tuesday 28 February 2017.

During this time, the following will be unavailable:

  • Reporting a change in circumstance
  • Housing Benefit Registration
  • Housing Benefit View
  • Council Tax Registration
  • Council Tax View
  • Move in move out notification

You can still complete a New Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support Claim form or view your BHP rent account.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

 

My Account provides you with a safe and flexible way to access council services and your personalised information.

Creating an account is easy and takes a couple of minutes. All you need to get started is an email address, to use as a login, and so we can send you details on how to activate your account.

Services you can access

At the click of a button - anytime, anywhere – you can:

  • see your council tax account details, set up a direct debit, view your bill online and avoid paper bills, apply for discounts, report a change of address and make payments
  • make a housing benefit or council tax support application and complete a change of circumstances form
  • view rent statements and make payments if you're a Brent Housing Partnership tenant

My Account allows you to complete various applications and transactions which may take one to three days to show on your account. You may receive a bill in the post to advise you of your new balance and amended instalment plan.

Who can have an account

My Account is available to residents in Brent.

Within My Account, council tax and/or the benefits view are not currently available to:

  • individuals that have been provided with housing by us outside of the borough
  • landlords that are registered as a company
  • Brent businesses
  • residents receiving Universal Credit (The benefits account view is unavailable for these residents)
