New and improved website for you to talk to your Council

A new website will make it easier for you to share your views on everything from roadworks to regeneration.

Kitted out with a host of new features, the Have Your Say website makes it quicker to find consultations that are relevant to your neighbourhood and interests.

Maps, polls, online workshops and more bring the issues to life and make sharing feedback enjoyable.

At the moment, live consultations are asking for your views on everything from tackling local air pollution and bike parking to electric vehicle charging points, as well as plans to create new homes and better community spaces in Church End.

Residents can also put forward suggestions for Scrutiny Committees to independently examine how local services are performing.

Cllr Promise Knight, Lead Member for Community Safety and Engagement, said: “Feedback from residents, businesses and community groups is so important and helps us to make decisions. We’re delighted to be launching the new website, which I hope will create a more welcoming space for residents to share ideas and interact with the council in new ways. Join in the conversation!”

The new website marks the latest milestone in the council’s push to hold deeper, more meaningful conversations with communities about decisions affecting their area.

It follows initiatives like the Brent Climate Assembly, in which a group of 50 residents helped form the borough’s strategy for reaching carbon zero by 2030, and the launch of a participatory budgeting pilot, YOU Decide.

Join the conversation and sign up now at Have Your Say. New users will need to register for an account.
