Have your say on proposals to tackle street drinking, drug use and other forms of anti-social behaviour. The consultation is open to anyone who lives, works, owns a business or travels through Brent.

We are merging three Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) into one with varying rules for each of the three areas on drinking, drug taking and other forms of anti-social behaviour:

  • Borough wide
  • Parks, open spaces, cemeteries and graveyards
  • Wembley Park (specifically rules around Wembley Stadium Events)

Councillor Harbi Farah, Cabinet Member for Safer Communities and Public Protection said: “I know the importance of making sure all of our green spaces and public areas can be enjoyed by everyone.

“

We know from reports that residents have given us that there are issues with anti-social behaviour in certain areas and that is why we have set out a plan to tackle it through a PSPO across the borough.

”
Cllr Harbi Farah,
Cabinet Member for Safer Communities and Public Protection

“Thank you to all of the residents who have recently given us feedback on the types of anti-social behaviour you face in Brent. I urge residents to complete this consultation to share their views on how we tackle anti-social behaviour in the borough.”

This is the next part of our consultation with residents, who have already told us what anti-social behaviour issues are faced in Brent. We have now gathered this evidence and want to consult on whether you agree to particular rules being put in place to tackle those issues.

Your feedback will help shape the PSPO which gives council key workers and the police the powers to crack down on anti-social behaviour.

View the full list of rules for each of the current PSPOs.

Have your say before 18 August 2022.
