Remember to vote this Thursday (5 May)! Local elections will be taking place across 22 wards in Brent, to elect 57 ward councillors. Polls open at 7am and close at 10pm.

Carolyn Downs, Chief Executive and Returning Officer at Brent Council, said:

“

Foster carers in Brent make invaluable contributions to our children and young people. We want to thank our carers who continue to do an amazing job, but we also want to reach out to find more local carers for local children. That’s why we’re appealing to as many people as possible to step forward and be the difference for a Brent child

”
Gail Tolley
Gail Tolley,
Strategic Director for Children and Young People at Brent Council

Local residents are encouraged to join the campaign by visiting Brent Fostering’s social channels and sharing the stories they come across with their families and friends. More information about fostering and what support is available to those who join the community is available at Brent Fostering.
