Pride of Brent Youth Awards 2022 - Nominations now open

The Pride of Brent Youth Awards, now in its third year, is about recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements of the brilliant young people in our borough.

Nominations are now open for the awards and the categories are:

• Community spirit award
• Young leader award
• Youth organisation of the year
• Volunteer award
• Special recognition award
• Special progress award
• Positive role model award
• Young disability champion award
• Brent young Environmentalist award

Cllr Gwen Grahl, Cabinet Member for Children, Young People & Schools said:

I’m confident that we can all think of at least one person who fully deserves one of these awards. I would encourage you to send us your nomination as soon as possible."

A celebration event of the winners who went above and beyond helping in their local community will take place on Monday 5 December at The Drum, Brent Civic Centre.

Brent Council is looking for nominations from members of the public, including friends and neighbours along with schools, youth groups and voluntary organisations.
