Plans for a network of pipes that will provide affordable, low carbon heat and hot water to buildings in South Kilburn took a step forward today.
Brent’s Cabinet voted in favour of inviting offers from businesses to design, build, operate and maintain the South Kilburn Heat Network.
The long-term ambition is for the network to deliver zero carbon heat to developments that form part of the South Kilburn Regeneration Programme. It also aims to offer residents a value-for-money service and boost employment opportunities.
