There are a range of Aqua classes running at the Willesden Sports Centre, which are generally aerobic based (these may be known as Aqua, Aquafit, Aqua Aerobics or similar at your local centre).
Water based classes help you to tone up as the water adds resistance to any movements you make. Work your body harder increasing your stamina and also reducing stress with a workout that is kind to your body. Water-based exercise is also an excellent form of rehabilitation after injury.
These classes are perfect for any age or ability (including in most cases non-swimmers – check with your local centre first).
What to bring
You will need appropriate swimwear, a towel and a water bottle is also recommended to keep you hydrated throughout your session.
