Legal Notice of Marriage and Civil Partnership – from 4 January 2020 any new appointments to give legal notice of marriage or civil partnership have been suspended.  For any appointments that have already been booked, these appointments will go ahead.

Marriage and Civil Partnership Ceremonies – from 4 January 2020 there will be no civil marriages or civil partnership ceremonies until we have further information from the Government.

You may have a civil marriage or civil partnership ceremony in any register office or at any approved venue of your choice in England or Wales.

Please ensure you check availability with your chosen venue. Some venues are really popular and may be booked up if you wish to marry or join in civil partnership soon after the notice is given.
