Exhibitions and projects

We produce a lively and varied programme of exhibitions and projects throughout the year.

We run regular free events to go with our exhibitions throughout the year and if you or your community group are interested in curating an exhibition in the community gallery, find out how you can get involved with us.

Current exhibitions and projects

  • Wonderful flying machines: Images of Kingsbury and its former aircraft glory - A former councillor for the Kingsbury (Fryent) area and now historian, Dr James Moher, has put together images from before and after World War I (1914 - 18) with supporting commentary..
  • Commemorating the First World War - We will be delivering a programme of varied events, exhibitions and projects throughout the borough between 2014 and 2018 to commemorate the centenary of the First World War
  • London: A Bigger Picture - this project is bringing old film out of the archives and showing them in new exciting places. Donations of films needed
  • A.R.P. – Wembley’s Air Raid Wardens in the Second World War
    A colourful ‘coat of arms’ made by wardens to decorate their Air Raid Post (Post 12) provides the centrepiece for this exhibition.
