St Raphael's Intergenerational Children's Centre

St Raphael's Children's Centre, in partnership with the parents or carers and the community, offers a range of services to families with children under 5 years old.

The centre aims to provide a safe and caring environment through the delivery of innovative and high-quality activities and services to enable children to maximize their potentials.

The centre's services and activities include: 

  • Stay and play groups - including sessions run by Speech and Language Therapist with one to one advice and support available
  • Baby sessions
  • Baby massage
  • 'Getting Ready' sessions - supporting and preparing children to be ready for nursery
  • Childminders group
  • Healthy eating for children - cook and eat classes and one to one advice
  • Citizens Advice Bureau (by appointment only) 
  • First Aid courses
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
  • Family Support - information, advice and support on parenting skills and child development and behaviour  
  • Toy library 
  • Saturday Fathers Groups - a chance for dads to get together have breakfast and fun with their children - held at Harmony Children's Centre
  • Keep fit for mum, carers and community members 
  • Stonebridge Safer Neighbourhoods team monthly drop in sessions
