Help vulnerable children during this challenging time
Whilst the current situation is having an impact on us all, some things do not change - our local, vulnerable children still need caring people to look after them. Do you want to help?'
Here is what you need to become a foster carer:
- be over 21 (there is no upper age limit);
- have indefinite leave to remain in the UK;
- have available living space: space for a cot in the bedroom to foster babies (0-2 years-old), or a spare room in the house to accommodate older children;
- live in Brent or the neighbouring boroughs.
You can be married or single, gay or straight, a homeowner or a private tenant, it does not matter. As long as you love children and are kind, open-minded and inclusive, you can become a foster parent.
You will undergo an online assessment consisting of virtual meetings and visits, specifically designed for your safety and protection. During the application and after your approval, you will receive our full support and will have access to our attractive rewards package.
The fostering process normally takes between 4 to 6 months, but given the urgent need for foster carers, we may decide to fast track your application if possible.
