SEND provision in mainstream schools
Some mainstream primary and secondary schools have additional funding to provide places for pupils with a specific type of special educational need or disability. This is called additionally resourced provision (ARP).
These places are only available to pupils with an education, health and care (EHC) plan, who have a learning difficulty such as speech, language and communication needs, autism, hearing or visual impairment. Places at an ARP are commissioned and agreed by Brent Council.
