Services for schools
Teachers and children engage with our collections through online resources, loans boxes, workshops and presentations at your school and visits to Brent Museum and Archives.
You can access our online catalogue to view images of Brent.
Visiting Brent Museum and Archives
Visits to the Museum are free. View our opening times.
The Museum galleries cover Brent’s past from prehistoric times to the modern day. Over 400 items can be viewed over six sections of the museum. Class visits usually last around 30 minutes.
Book a visit (without a workshop)
If you wish to visit the Brent Musuem and Archives (without a workshop), please complete the Independent visit enquiry form and return to jana.cameron@brent.gov.uk.
It is very important that you wait for confirmation from us that there is space for you to come and that we have booked you in as the Museum cannot accommodate more than one class of up to 35 students at a time.
Workshops
During workshops, students handle and explore original archive materials in our Search Room with our Learning team. All our workshops can be delivered at your school or at Brent Museum and Archives. Find out more about our workshops.

Loan boxes contain both real and replica objects from the museum and archives collections. Find out more about our Loans boxes.
