Olympic Taekwondo (Kwang Duk Kwan)

The program teaches how to recognise and handle situations in which self-defence may be required, bringing out the positive qualities in our members.  The programs help to develop:

  • patience
  • confidence
  • self-discipline
  • inner calm
  • a consistently positive mental attitude 

and help to overcome fear and self-doubt.

Using this completely integrated system, you will learn techniques needed to defend yourself intelligently in threatening situations. What you learn could prevent you from becoming a victim and help you overcome any challenges that may come your way.

This club teaches World Taekwondo Federation-style Taekwondo, which is not only a martial art, but also an Olympic sport. They continue to produce dedicated martial artists and talented athletes, who are capable of representing Great Britain on the international stage.
