Re:store Re:new Re:imagine - finding balance through art
An exhibition of work created during challenging times exploring how creating art helps to overcome and transform people’s lives; art-making is a resource for health and wellbeing.
In the current COVID-19 climate, with its uncertainty and anxiety, art can help us become more resilient and support our health and wellbeing. We believe that now more than ever it is important to engage in mindful creative and artistic processes and bring artists together across our community. We are inviting artists living and working in London to submit artworks for our new exhibition.
We are asking artists to the respond to the theme: ‘Re:store Re:new Re:imagine - finding balance through art’. “What have you been creating in response to these challenging times? How has your work contributed to improving/maintaining your health and wellbeing?”
Artists are invited to submit a maximum of two artworks no larger than 180cm in any dimension. There is no fee to submit work and we will not charge artists a fee to exhibit their work.
The artworks will be part of a curated group exhibition selected by an experienced panel. We would love to see artwork from a range of visual media: drawing, paintings, sculpture, mixed media, film installation, photography, illustration, etc.
The exhibition will run from 8 - 26 February 2021.
There is an application form to fill in, please download it here. The deadline for applications is 12am (midnight) on Monday 11 January 2021.
The selected artists will be given the opportunity to exhibit in the contemporary Gallery located within The Library at Willesden Green. Invitations, press releases and promotional material will be produced by the gallery supported by content supplied by contributing artists.
This is a fantastic opportunity for emerging and established artists to exhibit in a professional gallery.
