The BMS Intermediate Orchestra, comprises of players who have graduated from our BMS Junior Orchestras.
What do we do?
The aim of the ensemble is to provide students with wide ranging ensemble experience. They rehearse and perform a repertoire of music from classical to film and TV to contemporary and traditional, and much more. The rehearsal and practice discipline enables students to graduate to Brent Music Service senior ensembles (Brent Youth String Orchestra and Brent Concert Band).
Where does it take place?
Rehearsals will take place at
- BMS Claremont Evening Centre on Mondays, 6pm to 8pm.
How much does it cost?
The annual membership is £90.

How do I join?
Entry to the orchestra is by recommendation of current BMS tutor or Ensemble Leader, or by audition. At entry students will be expected to be of approximately grade 3 standard, or higher where demand for places is high. Additional specialist string, wind, brass and percussion tutors are available to support the orchestra at rehearsals.
