Invitation to submit a proposal for a new Alternative Provision at Roundwood Centre
We are seeking proposals from appropriate sponsors to open a new Alternative Provision with an integrated youth offer. Proposers are required to submit bids demonstrating how they will work in partnership with the voluntary sector to deliver an integrated youth offer providing positive diversionary activities for young people, including pre and post school-day enrichment, as well as weekend and holiday programmes.
A market warming event is planned for the 2 July 2019 at the Roundwood Centre for interested parties to find out more and to visit the proposed integrated school and youth offer site.
The application period for the submission of proposals runs from Monday 10 June to Wednesday 31 July 2019. Following this application period we will work with the Department for Education to shortlist and approve a suitable provider. It is intended that the new provision will open by September 2020.
