An award-winning housing association with over 40 years’ experience who own and manage over 20,000 homes across London, Hertfordshire and the South East are seeking a driven and reliable HR Apprentice to join their team.


The role and responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to the business by providing first class customer service to Internal and External clients.

  • Build their knowledge regarding the HR sector and obtain a professional qualification from Chartered Institute of Personal Development.

  • To Support colleagues within the HR in the day to day delivery of office functions.

  • Develop an understanding of the systems, tool and processes used in the role.

  • Understand the role and focus of HR within the organisation.

  • Develop the skills and knowledge consistent with the post of HR Apprentice.

  • Adopt and comply with Network values, policies and procedures, and regulatory frameworks including

  • You’ll mainly be based at our Wembley offices but there will be times when you’ll be working in our Hertford offices. For this, we’ll cover travel costs

  • No role profile can cover every issue which may arise within the post at various times. The post holder is expected to carry out other duties from time to time, which are broadly consistent with those described.

 

Skills and experience

  • Minimum GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above essential

  • You will need to pass a basic English and Maths test before your application can be shortlisted

  • Experience is not required for this role as on the job learning and support will be provided

  • Willing to take personal ownership and responsibility to get things done

  • Able to treat everyone with respect and take full part in meetings

  • Optimistic with a can-do attitude

  • Willing to undertake a basic DBS check
