Summary

      

A great opportunity for a “beginner” technician with a keen interest in IT, who is dedicated to growing and developing within the industry. This role will involve, remote support, on-site visits and monthly site visits.

                            

The role and responsibilities

  • Logging and processing support calls

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners

  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades

  • Setting up accounts for staff, ensuring that they know how to log in

  • Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter

  • Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults

  • Repairing equipment and replacing parts

  • Maintaining records of software licences

  • Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies

  • Microsoft Windows 7, 10, Server 2008R2, 2012 R2, OSX (basic).

  • Microsoft Office 365 Exchange/ Office Packages 2010,2013,2016

  • HyperV

  • VMware esxi

  • RMM Tools, PRTG monitoring service

  • Veeam Backup Replication

  • 3rd party Telco PBX systems
