Summary

An excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and fast growing global biscuits and confectionery business. As a Production Operative working in Europe’s largest Biscuit Manufacturing site you will get to use new state of the art machinery, and will be expected to be purpose-led, resilient and positive and able to work with pace and agility.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working as a part of a team on continues production lines in Process, Packing or Mixing areas
  • Team members are responsible for operating machinery
  • Carrying out all quality checks
  • Maintaining high production standards
  • The successful candidates will have an understanding of good manufacturing practice, HACCP systems and Health & Safety in the workplace
  • A flexible approach the work and the ability to cope with a fast paced working environment is essential

Key skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • Must be able to work a night shift pattern
  • Must be able to stand for a long periods of time
  • Must be able to work within an environment that has varying temperatures
  • Previous experience handling food and operating equipment in a quality focused and performance driven factory environment
  • Experience operating large-scale automated machinery within Packing
  • You must also have good English language, numerical skills and basic PC skills
  • Possess problem solving skills
  • A commitment team player
