Summary

An exciting opportunity to work in the vibrant London Designer Outlet, for a luxury eyewear brand. As the store manager, your mission will be to create an environment that will provide a premium consumer experience; you must also ensure that all sales targets and operational needs are met. This brand new store is opening, and as the store manager, you will build your team, and set a culture of excellence to ensure the store is a success.

The role and responsibilities

  • Manage financial budget including labour costs and overall expenses
  • Manage people, operations, and environment to achieve sales, service, organisation, customer satisfaction and profitability goals
  • Support the business in delivering KPI’s and implementing profit maximising strategies
  • Implement individual, daily and weekly sales targets for the store team to improve store performance
  • Monitor KPIs and staff performance through running reports
  • Assist with store operations such as stock management, payroll, admin and rota
  • Inspire, motivate and develop the team through training, coaching and product knowledge 
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service through team work and embodying our brand values
  • Designing and Implementing strong visual standards across the store

People Management

  • Motivates a team of people to deliver positive results
  • Coaches and develops staff members to maximise their potential, increase performance and encourage retention
  • Uses all available resources to ensure staff are trained effectively
  • Able to articulate and communicate accurate feedback about performance in a constructive and developmental manner

 Strategic and Commercial Management

  • Uses day to day reports to monitor and pro-actively improve KPIs
  • Implementing store merchandising in line with visual planograms and brand standards to create an engaging shopping experience and to increase footfall
  • Be commercially aware and reactive to sales figures
  • Consistently self-motivated during peak and non-peak trading times, and adapts own working hours to suit the needs of the business where appropriate

Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 6 years in a retail environment
  • At least 2 years Retail Management
  • Experience with retail operations, planning, customer service, sales and people management
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written including report writing)
  • Must have the ability to build, manage and motivate a high performing team
  • Ability to employ methods to support conflict resolution and employee coaching
  • Knowledge of and passion for the luxury retail and the fashion industry
  • Must be commercially aware with sales focus to help maximize conversion and cross selling
  • Must be able to multi-task with solid organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including weekends, evenings and holidays.
