Summary

An exciting opportunity to work in the vibrant London Designer Outlet, for a luxury eyewear brand due to open in March. As a Sales Assistant you will be at the front line in delivering an excellent in store experience, you will have a strong sense of presence on the shop floor and the ability to communicate confidently with customers. You will be expected to be a brand ambassador, and display high presentation standards at all times.

The role and responsibilities

  • Ensuring that every customer receives outstanding service, by providing a friendly environment including greeting and acknowledgement on entrance into the store
  • Achieving individual sales targets
  • Locating merchandise for customers, replenishing merchandise and maintaining visual and housekeeping standards
  • Demonstrating ability to work successfully in a team with all employees
  • Participating in store meeting, stock takes and other related functions
  • Sustaining awareness of all current promotions and events
  • Adhering to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility
  • Consistently presenting a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company
  • Adhere to the rules and guidelines as expressed in the company hand book  

Skills and experience

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High personal presentation standards
  • Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule
  • Must have high sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to work independently and to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
  • Allocates time effectively, handles multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which require evening, shifts, weekends and holidays.

Please note: Priority will be given to Brent residents in the first instance.
