About this permit
A visitor household permit is available to residents who live within a controlled parking zone.
It is a paper permit which the permit holder can display in any vehicle, and allows that vehicle to park in a resident parking bay or shared use bay within the named street (or part of the street) shown on the permit.
Permits are priced at a flat rate and do not depend on the resident having a car for their own use.
Your permit can take up to 5 working days to arrive in the post.
Please note, this permit is only valid when it is clearly displayed in the windscreen of your visitor’s vehicle. Failure to correctly display the permit may result in the vehicle being issued a penalty charge notice and/or removal of vehicle. Please see the terms and conditions of permit use.
Paying by cash
If you would prefer to pay for your permit in cash please select the payment method as ‘Manual by Cash’ when creating your online application; download the PDF from the booking record found in your account summary, print and take this to;
