November 2016 - Leaf clearing dates

Certain roads in our borough have many leaves falling on them at this time of year. For two weeks from the 21 November, we will be clearing heavily leafed pavements; which are mainly in the south of Brent. To see which day your road will be cleared of leaves, please look at the following information.

September 2016 - New price for garden waste service

From 1 October the price of garden waste service is reduced and will cost £20 for garden waste collections until the end of March 2017. View more on garden waste.

July 2016 - We’ve bin recycling – have you?

Remember that 4 - 8 July is recycling week here in Brent, and to celebrate we will be launching Recycleopedia, our new search tool that helps you decide what to put in your recycling bin. We’ve also created a sticker that can be placed on the lid of your blue top recycling bin, to remind you which items should and shouldn’t be recycled. You can get your hands on these stickers directly from Wembley Library in Brent Civic Centre.

February 2016 - New recycling and waste service leaflet and collection calendar

Your new recycling and waste service leaflet and collection calendar will be delivered from 18 February. Delivery will be completed by 29 February 2016. As well as a collection calendar for your bins from April 2016 to March 2017, the leaflet has information on what items can be placed into what bin and gives you full information on the chargeable garden waste service.

If you have signed up to the garden waste service please note that until the end of February 2016, your garden waste will be collected once a month rather than every two weeks.
