Get involved

You can get involved in shaping and delivering the Brent Black Community Action Plan in many ways.

Community Reference Group

A Community Reference Group exists to assist with the production and peer review of this action plan and meets bi-monthly. They have oversight of the delivery of the whole action plan and have a lead role in holding the council to account.

Priority Steering Groups

Sitting under the Community Reference Group are Priority Steering Groups. There is a steering group for each of the priorities in the year one delivery plan. Members are instrumental in delivering on the actions that fall under their priority to ensure progress continues.

Youth Advisory Group

If you are you 14-25, this is your chance to make a real difference, develop your skills and tackle the inequalities faced by Brent’s Black communities. The Youth Advisory Group will help shape and deliver the Black Community Action Plan, feeding into the development of the yearly delivery plans and relevant activity linked to the plan.
